Fully Funded!

Dear Friends and Family!

I am so happy to say that I am now fully funded for this trip to South Africa! I am truly just so blown away with how quickly and generously so many people have provided for me to be able to go! Thank you to everyone who has given, I am beyond grateful! Also, just so you all know, there is no need to continue to give toward the trip. At this point, any extra money will not go toward my trip, but will go to the World Race Missions Organization for other purposes, but of course, they are still doing God’s work, so feel free to give to World Race through my fundraising page if you would like!

Ultimately, I am just so thankful to the Lord for His sovereignty in providing the money needed! God’s grace and clear direction in all of this has been such a sure and reassuring reminder of his continual presence in my life! Two verse that have been placed on my heart as I am writing this are:

Psalm 121:1-2: “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

and Zephaniah 3:17: “The Lord your God is with you. The Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you…”

As I have fundraised and just gone through these past few months of graduating and the continual sanctification that Christ leads us through :), I am so encouraged by the way that God is our only true uplifter, and He is always with us! I am thankful for the way God has provided for me in this, but even in the smaller areas of life, in the everyday trials, in the seasons where all we see is fog and confusion. Even when we are seeking the Lord and just trying our best to serve Him, and even when it’s hard, He see’s us! He is with us in all of it! And even more, He really is the only thing that keeps us going each day. We may not always see the way His hand is strengthening us, but in everything, His mercy and grace lift us up as we come to Him!

I still have over 6 months until I leave on this trip, and I am so thankful that I am fully funded in advance! These next few months are a little uncertain for me whether I will do a semester of college, just work, or whatever God has for me. But I am certain of this, God is with us and moving in every season and area of ours lives! I hope He will open all of our eyes to see His strength in and through us each day!
